About the Founding CEO
I am a social entrepreneur and the Founding CEO of Higher Ground Nepal. I am also a certified John Maxwell Coach/Speaker/Trainer. I received my Bachelor’s in Social Science (Business/Sociology and Community Development) and Masters in Ministry Leadership from Calvin University, MI, USA.
Having spent my childhood in Brunei, Hong Kong, and Nepal helped me understand and gain appreciation for different cultures. As an adult, getting an opportunity to study and work in the U.S. as well as in India further broadened my deep respect of different worldviews as well as understanding of cross-cultural and interfaith issues. The global perspectives that I learned by living in both sides of the world have not only enriched my person life but have also provided a pathway to implement them in my professional trainings.
I am passionate about serving marginalized youth and women through mentoring, coaching, and entrepreneurial and leadership trainings. I am also a strong advocate for social justice and mental health.
In my leisure time, I like to run, hike, travel, bake as well as spend some quiet time by myself. I also enjoy learning from each other’s life experiences through peer coaching.
